The Cebu Provincial Government is currently conducting a FREE medical screening at Cebu Provincial Hospital–Carcar (OPD) as part of its continuing efforts to expand access to essential health services for Cebuanos across cities and municipalities.
Under the leadership of People’s Governor Pamela “PAM” Baricuatro, this initiative aims to assist patients who may have delayed treatment due to financial constraints by providing the first step toward possible inclusion in a free surgical mission.
Conditions Covered for Screening:
• Myoma
• Ovarian Cysts
• Goiter
• Gallstones
• Hernia
Why Screening Matters
Please note that the screening is not yet the surgery, but an important step to determine:
• If surgery is medically necessary
• If the patient qualifies for the surgical mission
• What early and appropriate medical interventions are needed
Early screening helps prevent complications and increases the chances of timely medical assistance.
What to Bring
Patients are encouraged to bring any available medical records.
This service is FREE, inclusive, and open to all, in line with the Provincial Government’s commitment to people-centered healthcare.
